Construction Project Manager
Experience and Education
- Project Management, 5 years (required)
- Construction management, 5 years (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture or equivalent
- Preferred – 5 years of experience in ground up construction, multi-story ground ups, tilt wall, strip centers, storage facilities and office complex construction

- Must be familiar with Procore or other construction management software
- Must have positive attitude, be willing to enforce company policies and support a strong culture of teamwork and accountability
Job Duties
- Bid new project opportunities by coordinating efforts with estimators, project coordinators and interns on the team
- Review contract and contract documents and coordinate the team with specific needs to complete all tasks
- Work with estimating team to ensure job cost is set up in accordance with requirement of the project
- Manage all financials, staying within budget and industry standards for profit margin
- Manage all required to attain approvals for payment applications
- Monitor and manage outstanding owner change orders and change order requests
- Complete weekly construction schedules and ensure appropriate milestones are set and owner’s goals are met
- Communicate effectively with customers, superintendents, and sub-contractors
- Review and understand all construction documents to ensure conformance with budget, schedule, and prime contract
- Direct project closeout process to ensure that all contractual obligations are met within the timeframes outlined
- Identify and anticipate potential issues and mitigate any risks to project completion
- Prepare and publish documentation and project notes in a timely manner
- Maintain and strengthen national client and subcontractor relationships to secure future opportunities and long-lasting, collaborative relationships
